Frequently Asked Questions
Got Questions ?
Clear answers to common questions about our courses, workshops, certification, and support.
How do I decide which course is for me?
Our courses are designed primarily for mental health professionals, including psychologists, psychiatrists, counsellors, social workers, and mental health trainees.
Some programmes may also be relevant for professionals working in allied fields such as education, public health, and community services. Each course page will specify the intended audience and any recommended prior training or experience.
Our course pages include information about the intended audience, level of training, and key learning outcomes. This can help you decide whether the course fits your current experience and professional interests.
If you are unsure, you’re welcome to write to us and our team will be happy to help you choose the most appropriate programme.
Who are the faculty members?
Our faculty include experienced clinicians, researchers, and educators from India and around the world. Many of the courses we host are taught by internationally recognised experts through our partnerships with leading mental health institutions.
We also work with senior practitioners and subject-matter experts who bring extensive clinical, academic, and teaching experience to our programmes. Faculty for each course are listed on the respective course page.
Are the course accredited?
Many of our courses are jointly accredited by The PARC and international organisations, while others are independently developed and delivered by The PARC.
For courses delivered in partnership with international institutions or professional bodies, accreditation details will be clearly mentioned on the course page.
All our training programmes based on contemporary clinical practice, research, and the needs of mental health professionals in the region.
Can I receive a recording for later viewing if I have missed the whole/ part of the workshop after registering?
We do not share recordings of workshops and supervisions sessions due to the sensitive nature of information discussed in them. Often both facilitators and participants may bring up or allude to real clinical cases. The PARC may record some workshops for internal review but these are not for sharing or public consumption.
We request you to ensure your availability on the dates and times of the session before registering.
We however do record and share edited versions of our webinars for public viewing a month after the session.
Will I get a certificate for the workshop I attended?
Certificates are provided for our longer and self-paced courses that include structured learning components such as interactive sessions, case discussions, and post-session assessments.
For shorter workshops, certificates may be available at an additional cost. Where applicable, this will be clearly mentioned in the workshop communication and registration details.
At The PARC, we place greater emphasis on learning and professional development rather than certificates for their own sake. Our certification is therefore typically linked to courses that involve deeper and long term engagement with the material.
Can I get the slides of the workshop I attended?
Many of our workshops include resource material that you can make a note of during the session. We highly encourage you to take notes and ask questions during sessions so your full focus is on the learning. This is why at least 30% of our session time is interactive. We would prefer not to share slides that have been painstakingly created by our teachers publicly. Some teachers may make an exception and share select slides and a reading list for your later reference.
Can I get the personal contact information of an expert?
Some of our experts willingly share their mail IDs at the end of the session while some prefer not to share. If you have additional questions after a session, please feel free to pass it on to any member of The PARC team and we’ll be sure it reaches them.
I am not a trained therapist, can I attend?
Most of our courses are designed for mental health professionals and trainees, and some require prior training or clinical experience to participate meaningfully.
However, certain workshops and introductory programmes may be open to individuals from related fields or those with a strong interest in mental health. The intended audience and any prerequisites are clearly mentioned on each course page.
If you are unsure whether a course is suitable for you, feel free to get in touch and we will be happy to guide you.
Can I get a concession on the fee?
At The PARC, we believe that financial constraints should not prevent committed practitioners from accessing rigorous, high-quality training in mental health.
The Learning Grant is designed for individuals who are deeply committed to advancing their psychotherapy training and intend to apply that learning meaningfully within their communities. Please see https://theparc.in/staging/6685/the-parc-learning-grant/#apply for more information.
Can I get a group discount for my organisation?
We offer group discounts for organisations registering multiple participants for the same course or workshop. If you are planning to enrol a team, please write to us with the course name and the expected number of participants, and we will be happy to share available group rates.
How do I conduct a workshop through The PARC?
We collaborate with experienced clinicians, researchers, and educators to design and deliver training programmes in mental health. If you are interested in conducting a workshop with us, please write to us with a brief description of your proposed topic, your background, and any prior teaching experience.
Our team reviews proposals based on relevance, quality, and alignment with our training goals, and we will get back to you if there is a good fit.
